Sadolin Paints 0-1 URA FC
Ibrahim Kirya began his reign as Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) football club coach on an impressive note with a hard fought win against Sadolin Paints.
URA FC won their second successive game defeating Sadolin Paints 1-0 at Mandela national stadium on Tuesday.
They had defeated Lweza in their previous game. In a game where both teams barely created goal scoring chances, second half substitute Bokota Labama scored the lone goal with two minutes on the clock.
Fred Kyambadde got the game’s attempt on goal in the 20th minute but failed to put the ball past onrushing goalkeeper in a one one situation.
With the game producing no spark in the opening 45 minutes, either side opted for changes. Ibrahim Kirya introduced Bokota Labama and defender Fred Okot at the hour mark replacing Peter Lwasa and Julius Ntambi respectively.
Feni Ali who was off colour for the better part of the game was also withdrawn for Nicholas Kagaba in the 73rd minute.
On the other hand, Sadolin introduced Isaac Muyanga and Andrew Basoma for Muledhu Faizo and Fred Kyambadde. With the game destined for a barren stalemate, Bokota tapped home from close for URA to earn maximum points.
A quick interplay between Fred Okot and Hamis Kiiza on the right saw the later cross the balll on the far end where Shafik Kagimu was unmarked and he laid up Bokota for the goal.
The result means URA remain 5th on the table with 30 points while the Painters remain grounded in 12th position on 20 points.
