A Kenyan owned turbo prop aircraft has crash-landed in in Somalia under unclear circumstances.
The plane, a Fokker 50 registration 5Y WFC crash-landed at Bardere airport in the South Western Gedo region on Sunday morning.
The aircraft is reported to be owned by Buff Air Services, a firm that offers air transport services for the passengers, cargo and charters. It operates from Wilson Airport, Nairobi.
The cause of the incident was not clear by publication of this story, and there was no word yet on possible injuries.

However, photos from the scene showed a deflated front wheel which could have caused the place to veer off the runway during landing
The development comes just two months after another private Kenyan plane of the same make was shot down by Ethiopian military at Bardela airport.
The aircraft was carrying coronavirus medical supplies. All six passengers on board were killed.
