Police sniffer dogs have arrived at lawyer Fred Muwema’s offices along Acacia Avenue in Kampala as part of a wider investigation into a break-in case.
The firm was raided by thugs on Tuesday night.
They reportedly vandalised the office and stole equipment.
The police were brought in the car belonging to Muwema’s partner, Kagoro.
Muwema is among the lawyers of presidential candidate Amama Mbabazi who has gone to the Supreme Court challenging the election victory of President Yoweri Museveni.
Police are yet to make comments on the latest incident.

Go Forward publicity member, Maggie Lukowe said, “Following the vandalisation of offices belonging to two of the law firms handling the Presidential Election petition filed by Hon. Amama Mbabazi in the Supreme Court, the lawyers are meeting this morning to chart a way forward.”
She said Mbabazi’s camp said the lawyers’ meeting will “inform the communication that we shall make later today at a press conference.”
