Uganda’s Deputy Premier and East African Affairs Minister, Kirunda Kivejinja who was Tuesday night admitted at Nile International Hospital for treatment has been discharged.
According to relatives, “he was discharged at around noon.”
The Minister was yesterday involved in a fatal motor accident at Magamaga – a few kilometers from Jinja town.

This was while he was travelling from Namisindwa District in Eastern Uganda.
Kivejinja was representing the NRM national Party Chairman, President Yoweri Museveni to campaign for the party candidates in the parliamentary and LCV elections.
Police is yet to confirm the cause of the accident.
