Uganda Cup Quarter Finals
URA FC vs Express FC
Mehta Stadium 4:00pm
Perhaps the biggest clash of the quarter final stage; both URA FC and Express have been in scintillating form in their previous games.
The two sides lock horns this Tuesday at Mehta stadium, Lugazi in the quarterfinal of Uganda Cup seemingly on each footing.
URA are on a seven winning streak in all competitions and still unbeaten under coach Ibrahim Kirya who replaced Kefa Kisala at the start of last month.
Equally Express have enjoyed a good spell winning six games in a row. The last time Express lost a competitive game was against BUL at the start of the second round.
Record champions (10 times) Express come into this game on the back of an emphatic win against rivals SC Villa and will carry the same mentality as they take on URA.
However, the red eagles will not be with Yayo Lutimba, Sam Ssenkoomi and Derrick Tekkwo. The trio are on loan from URA and thus cannot play against their parent club.
The two sides will again clash three days later in the league at the same venue. The first leg league meeting ended in a goalless stalemate.
