
Kampala Associated Advocates (KAA), has announced the admission of eight (8) new Partners bringing renewed energy into the seventeen-year old establishment.
Six of the eight have risen through the ranks at KAA and distinguished themselves significantly in their respective practice specialisations, while two have joined from a young, high-impact law firm with a rich history of client service and professional delivery.
Announcing the additions to the firm, Managing Partner Mr. David Mpanga, stated that the eight partners were taking up stewardship at a firm that aspires to provide leadership in the East African region.
“Welcoming these Partners today is testimony that we are on course to sustain our vision of being leaders in the legal services market and a world class law firm of choice in the East African region. We trust that they will bolster the firm through their hard work and diligence,” Mr. Mpanga said.
The eight Partners named today are Ms. Zulaika Mirembe Kasajja and Mr. Elison Karuhanga, both formerly partners at M/s Karuhanga, Kasajja & Company Advocates; and admitted to the partnership from within KAA are Mr. Jet John Tumwebaze, Mr. Augustine Obilil Idoot, and Mr. Bruce Musinguzi; as well as Associate Partners Mr. Isaac Newton Kyagaba, Mr. Dennis Otatiina and Ms. Pearl Nyakabwa.
KAA Senior Partner, Mr. Peter Kabatsi, said the firm was pleased to announce the infusion of renewed energy consistent with the firm’s mission statement.

Mr. Kabatsi highlighted today’s announcement as highly significant for the legal profession in general as evidence that hard work within professional law firms pays off in career development.
Senior Partner, Hon. Dr. Elly Karuhanga, welcomed the partners and expressed optimism that they will bring fresh energy into the firm.
