Tension is high among the locals of Murora Sub County in Kisoro district as a grenade has been recovered on Monday morning in the no-man’s-land.
Hajji Shafiq Sekandi the Kisoro RDC says the explosive, green in color was discovered at around 9am at Omuhenerezo village at the no man’s land of Uganda and Rwanda by locals.
These immediately informed police that rushed and retrieved the hand grenade.
Jane Acan the Kisoro Acting DPC says the grenade was retrieved by a joint security team that included police and the UPDF and is being kept at Kisoro Police Station.
The development comes only a day after police intercepted seven guns that were found in a car at the Bunagana the Uganda – DRC border by police.
