The opposition FDC remain in shock after discovering a strange device on Dr Kizza Besigye’s car, Chimp Corps report.
“My vehicle was released fm Wandegeya Police Station after three weeks,” said Besigye on his official Twitter handle.
“Thorough inspection discovered this dangerous device.”
This website could not immediately obtain a comment from authorities. However, the device looks like a motherboard of a communication device.
“It could as well be a transmitter. It has features of a bugging or tracking device,” said an IT expert who preferred anonymity so as to speak freely.
Besigye’s car was towed to Wandegeya Police Station on February 16 following deadly clashes between a group of his supporters and armed security forces.
One person died in the Wandegeya battle that saw police and military use armoured vehicles to block Besigye’s supporters from marching to the Kampala Central Business District.
