Soroti Central Police is holding a man who was rescued from a mob for being a homosexual and a notorious impersonator.
The suspect Olaboro Silver Jude, 22, is a resident of Madera Central ward, Eastern Division in Soroti City.
According to Kyoga East police spokesperson David Ongom Mudong, “The suspect met a one Pirwoth Osbert, a Chef at Akello Hotel LTD on Moroto road, Soroti City while dressed on a tight mini skirt and a blouse smartly looking like a lady and introduced “herself” as Apio Jemima.”
“It’s from that point that they exchanged contacts for love and the duo agreed to meet at Mr. Pirwoth Osbert residence at around 2am to have sexual intercourse, only for Mr. Pirwoth to get shocked that his lover was a fellow man.” he added.
When he realized that, he notified police and the suspect was apprehended.
Upon interrogation, Police said the suspect revealed that he has been into that habit for a long time with intent to defraud his targets of money and other personal valuables.
Ongom told Chimpreports that the suspect would be charged with impersonation by conduct with intent to obtain money by false pretence.
“He is pending medical examination on PF24 to ascertain his mental status and will also medically be examined to ascertain his gender,” he said
