Until Wednesday morning, only the incumbent Eng Moses Magogo had publicly showed interest to contest for the seat of Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) President.

However, latest reports indicate Proline Football Club owner, and Coach Mujib Kasule has picked nomination forms to contest for the Fufa top seat.

The nomination process for the FUFA executive positions started on Monday and today Wednesday is the deadline for picking forms.

Kasule, a former footballer with KCCA FC and the national team is not new to football administration.

Under Lawrence Mulindwa’s reign as FUFA President, Mujib was the vice president in charge of the league.

He however decided to bow out of the Federation after Moses Magogo took over in 2013 with reports that the two failed to agree on terms of work.

The other person that had shown interest in the Fufa Presidency is SC Villa chairman, Ben Misagga but by the time of filling this story it was not clear whether he would return the forms.

The Fufa executive elections are scheduled to take place on 5th August in Masindi district.

The two candidates are expected to return the duly paid up bank slips totaling to Ugx 9M by Wednesday evening (deadline 5 p.m) with their respective proposed full Executive Members
