A two year old toddler in Kyamajaka Village, Muhorro Town Council in Kagadi District was last week killed by a stray chimpanzee.
The baby girl, whose names have not been established was picked by the primate from her parents’ home on Thursday afternoon at around 4pm when her parents were a way for work.
The deceased was heard by the neighbors crying, prompting them to run to the house for rescue, only too late as she has already been taken to the bush.
The baby was found dead later with severe injuries on various parts of her body.
The father of the deceased was identified as John Kaijuka from neighbouring Kyenjojo district, who had come to Kagadi for work.
Police by the time of filing the story had not yet visited the scene.
