
President Yoweri Museveni has returned from South Africa where he joined other leaders for the 3-day 4th World Economic Forum on Africa that took place in Durban.
The forum which started on Wednesday May 3rd was concluded today.
During the forum, a number of deals were cut between the government of Uganda and a number of foreign companions.
Top among the deals is the Memorandum of understanding between government and German telecom giant Siemens.
The Company will partner with government in infrastructure development projects including electrification among others.
On arrival, the President was received at Entebbe International Airport by the Vice-President, Mr. Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi and the Head of Public Service, Mr. John Mitala, among others.
