
Deputy Inspector General of Police J. M. Okoth Ochola has issued a second list of top police bosses who have been transferred in the second shakeup today.
This follows an earlier list in which 70 senior police officers were transferred to different regions in various ranks and positions.
In the first reshuffle, key police figures including Christopher Barugahare, who was the Head of Operations was moved to Wamala as RPC, getting Godfrety Maate as his replacement, and James Ruhweza Akiiki, former Operations Commander was taken to Entebbe airport as CSJO.
The deployment also saw former Police Special operations boss Nickson Agaswire emerge with no placement.
In another letter dated April 21st that ChimpReports has obtained, 17 major police officers have been moved to different positions and regions, and ordered to take action with immediate effect.
Among the senior officers that were transferred include; ACP Charles Sebambulindde, who has been appointed the PRO of the directorate of traffic and road safety, in addition to his role as traffic law enforcement, SP Lameck Kigozi, from Sezibwa to Masaka as PRO and SP Diana Ndawula from Masaka to Kiira as PRO.
ASP Paul Kangave has been transferred from Kampala Metropolitan Police to Savannah as PRO, with C/ASP Mary Nankinga moved from Jinja central to police headquarters and public relations office as in-charge police website.
