
About thirty participants have successfully completed the football management and administration level one course at Fufa technical center in Njeru near Jinja.
The three day course commenced on Thursday morning and ended on Sunday with participants going through a variety of course modules including general management, communications, Fufa structures, Marketing, Competitions, Financial management and FIFA structures.
Fufa education officer Jackson Nyiima supervised the three day class.
“Fufa has an objective to empower the stakeholders in terms of management and governance,” Mr. Nyiima noted.
“We shall continue to carry out such programmes that steer towards professionalizing the game in the country.”
FIFA instructor, also Fufa 1st vice President, Mr. Justus Mugisha was among the lecturers at the course together with Fufa Finance Director Decolas Kiiza and executive committee member Sam Mpiima.
Mugisha congratulated the participants upon completion of the course and urged them not to sit on the knowledge but transfer to their respective areas to improve management and administration.
“Fufa is trying to professionalize the game and that’s why you see a lot of courses around to improve the human resource capacity,” said Mr. Justus Mugisha during the closure.
Tangosport Director Mr. Joseph Mutaka thanked the federation for continued support, cooperation and coordination in organizing the course.
Each participant paid one hundred fifty thousand shillings for registration.
