The first forty five minutes of the international friendly game between Uganda and Kenya have seen both sides return to the dressing room with no scores.
The game played at Mandela National stadium on Tuesday has provided a dull first half with either side playing a cautious game and failing to find create scoring chances.
The best chance chance of the game fell Yunus Ssentamu but his effort was cleared off the line by Tottenham’s Victor Wanyama.
Just a minute after kickoff, Godfrey Walusimbi brought a corner that Eric Ouma failed to deal with, Ssentamu attempted on the rebound but Wanyama cleared off the line to deny Uganda taking the lead.
Emmanuel Okwi had a penalty appeal midway through the first half after a challenge from Muhammed Musa but the referee waved for play on.
Cranes skipper Geoffrey Massa also blasted a free kick wide in the 33rd minute to have the game into halftime goalless.
