
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Secretary General, Justine Kasule Lumumba has advised members of the party secretariat that are aggrieved with her leadership to pass through proper channels to have their issues settled.
A section of employees at the party offices in Kyaddondo recently wrote to President Museveni complaining of maltreatment by the Secretary General.
Lumumba was in the petition accused of being unresponsive to her junior’s concerns, segregation, and splitting the top leadership of the secretariat.
Lumumba while was responding to media questions at the party secretariat on Tuesday said she has never received any petition from her staff or any report to that effect but only saw it in social media.
“When I saw this, I instructed the finance director Hassan Ggaliwango Waswa to meet the aggrieved members and come with a report which will be forwarded to me,” said Lumumba.
Lumumba added that these members were in the first place supposed to file their petition with the Finance director and if not handled proceed to the Deputy Secretary and finally to her.
“Those issues raised were all administrative and if anyone has personal matters with me, let him approach me.”
